One of the most decorated professional golfers of all time joined us in the studio this morning just after the 7:30 news. Juli Inkster is a 7-time LPGA major winner and World Golf Hall of Famer. She is also the Team USA captain in the Solheim Cup coming to Des Moines Golf and Country Club in West Des Moines August 14th thru the 20th! Kelly Foss of the Des Moines Downtown Farmers Market joined us in the studio just after the 8:30 news. Saturday is the opening day for the Farmers Market and excitement is in the air! Everything gets underway at 7AM and lasts until Noon. There will be a special cow bell ringing ceremony at 7AM at 3rd & Court where you can enjoy fresh-squeezed juice. The theme of this years's Farmers Market is "Find Your Handful of Happiness". New this year, Dart and the Farmers Market have teamed up to run the free downtown D-line Shuttle from 7AM to Noon.
