Zoo Feeds Live Donkey to Tigers In front of Horrified Tourists

A Chinese zoo is under fire after a live donkey was ordered to be fed to donkeys right in front of horrified tourists. According to eye-witnesses one of the share holders at the Yancheng Wild Animal World was upset because a local court ruled against the zoo last year during a debt dispute which froze the park's assets.

Employees said the shareholder showed up with a large vehicle on the morning of the incident and attempted to remove several of the animals so they could be sold for cash.

However, when he was stopped by the staff, he drove the animals to the tiger enclosure and had someone toss the donkey into the water, regardless of the families with small children watching.

In the disturbing video the tigers play with their prey and it is thought the donkey survived for up to 5 hours.

The park says they have since 'calmed' the shareholder down and they are now looking into the case. No arrests have been announced.
