More snow coming to Des Moines area this week SNOW MAP

Snow Prediction Map showing chance of 4 inches or more

DES MOINES, Iowa - We could have several more inches of snow in the Des Moines metro area by Friday night.  

We'll have some sun today, then clouds will increase on Thursday and snow will start in Northern Iowa by Thursday afternoon.

WHO TV Channel 13 reports snow will increase overnight Thursday into Friday as a cold front pushes into Iowa, and heads into the Des Moines area. 

The cold front is likely to stall in Central or Southern Iowa on Friday morning and keep snow in the forecast throughout much of the day Friday. 

At least several inches of snow is likely on Friday with much more wind. Expect a very slow Friday morning commute.
