Police say Iowa semi driver hit busload of kids head-on

MCCLEAN COUNTY, Illinois - A school bus loaded with a high school girls basketball junior varsity team was hit head-on by a semi truck going the wrong way on I-74 in Illinois overnight.

Police say two men are confirmed dead, including the 34-year-old Iowa man was was driving the semi.  His name has not been released yet.  

A passenger on the school bus, 72-year-old Charles Crabtree of Normal, Illinois also died.

Police say all of the girls are at an Illinois hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Two other adults are also hospitalized with serious injuries.
