Iowa braces for another weekend winter storm

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Iowa's bracing for yet another weekend winter storm.

"Pretty widespread moderate to even heavy snow across much of the state. It looks like it's going to move in sometime Friday morning around sunrise" says National Weather Service Meteorologist Kenny Podrazik.

He says Central Iowa could see anywhere from four to five inches of snow through early Saturday.

After the snow, Podrazik says it's going to get bitterly cold.

"By Sunday, we're going to be pushing 10 degrees for a high temperature. Monday and Tuesday are also going to be cold--at least thee to four days of these bitterly cold temperatures" he says.

Podrazik says wind chills will be -15 to -25 overnight Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
