(Ankeny, IA) -- The Ankeny Community School District has begun its summer curbside meals for kids. The school district says all children 18 years old and younger can get a free meal Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at Northview Middle School and Heritage Elementary School. Friday's pickups include meals for the weekends. The program started Monday and runs through August 13th, 2021. The school district says the USDA and Iowa Department of Education is waiving the cost of school breakfast and lunch for all students in Ankeny for the 2021-2022 school year.
