Man Shot & Killed By Officer In Southern Iowa Identified

(Appanoose County, IA) -- The name of a person killed after being shot by an officer in southern Iowa is being released. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says 45-year-old Kevin Arbogast of Centerville was shot and killed. The shooting happened as two Centerville Police officers and an Appanoose County Sheriff's deputy were investigating a domestic assault yesterday (Sunday) afternoon in the 21000 block of 560th Street south of Centerville. The officers were not injured.
