(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police say a yellow car investigators say may have been involved in a fatal hit and run crash has been located. Police are still looking for the driver.
Police say a yellow-colored 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier two-door, hit a pedestrian in the 700 blk of E. MLK, Jr Pkwy shortly before 3 a.m. today (Wednesday), resulting in the man's death.
“There’s a lot of pieces that we got to put together right now. There’s a lot of technical evidence that need to be examined. There’s a lot of people that we need to talk to so there’s a whole lot that still needs to come in this investigation," Sergeant Paul Parizik told WHO 13.
