(Des Moines, IA) -- A West Des Moines man has been charged in a woman's murder in February. Police were called to the Sun Prairie Apartment complex February 12th, after a woman fell from a 3rd story balcony. Twenty-three-year-old Trisha Kunze was treated at the scene by first responders but later died at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Investigators found evidence that Kunze was murdered. Police today (Friday) arrested and charged 27-year-old Nathen Cameron in the case.
Cameron faces the following charges:
Murder 1st Degree
Willful Injury – Causing Serious Injury
Domestic Assault with Strangulation
Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver
Drug Tax Stamp Violation
Cameron was transported and booked into the Dallas County Jail where he remains incarcerated on the above listed charges.
