(Omaha, NE) -- A handful of northwest Omaha streets will be closed Sunday for the Omaha Triathlon.
Triathlon organizers say the road closures near Cunningham Lake will be in place from 7:30 AM to Noon on Sunday, July 17th. The road closures include Lake Cunningham Road/State Street between 96th Street and 72nd Street, 72nd Street from Lake Cunningham Road to Bennington Road/Highway 36, and Highway 36 west to Hwy 133.
Drivers are asked tod avoid using these during the triathlon, however, traffic control law enforcement will be on hand to route any necessary traffic.
