(Johnston, IA) -- The ice rink at the Johnston Town Center opens Friday, December 1st.
The city of Johnston says ice skates are available to rent for $5, but people are welcome to bring their own skates. Skate rental hours include Fridays from 5pm-9pm, Saturdays from noon to 9pm, and Sundays from noon to 6pm.
The rink will be open for skating seven days a week from 10am-8pm seven days a week, aside from holiday hours from December 26th through 29th, during which the rink will be open noon-6pm.
