The Great Iowa Treasure Hunt Is Back

(Des Moines, IA) -- The Great Iowa Treasure Hunt is back.

The state Treasurer's Office is looking to reconnect Iowans with millions of dollars of unclaimed property.

Some of the unclaimed items include inactive bank accounts, lost stocks and bonds, insurance benefits, and valuables from abandoned safe deposit boxes.

The Treasurer's Office says the Great Treasure Hunt has returned over $370-million of unclaimed property to Iowans.
