The City of Des Moines is expected to announce the next Chief of Police on Wednesday.
City Manager Scott Sanders will hold a press conference at 1 p.m. tomorrow to introduce the new Chief of Des Moines Police Department.
The Des Moines City Council will then hold a special meeting to approve the city's 45th chief of police.
The two finalists are Chicago Police Commander Joshua Wallace and Des Moines Police Major Michael McTaggart.
