Some mobile speed cameras are back online across Des Moines after being turned off for months due to a new state law, but drivers won't be receiving tickets just yet.
The law requires approval from the Iowa Department of Transportation for their locations.
The city was also required to place signage alerting drivers to the traffic enforcement cameras.
Des Moines Police say warnings only will be issued at this time. Citations will be issued starting on January 6th, 2025.
