The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a fire damages several storage units in Des Moines.

Deputies arrived at 5499 NE 14th Street just after 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday and found part of the storage facility and a pick-up engulfed in flames.

Fire crews from Saylor, Ankeny, Bondurant, Johnston/Grimes, and Altoona arrived to put out the fire.

Approximately 12-16 storage units were damaged by the fire, as well as the contents inside, and the pick-up. No one was injured in the fire.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the fire does not appear to be suspicious at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
