(Bellevue, IA) -- Three people are dead after a boating accident on the Mississippi River near Bellevue, Iowa, about 20 miles south of Dubuque.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says three men were fishing in a restricted area near Lock & Dam 12.
According to the DNR the boat got caught in a strong backflow current and capsized.
