(Des Moines, IA) -- There are two new residents of Des Moines' Blank Park Zoo.
On Tuesday, twin cotton-top tamarins were born at the zoo. Cotton-top tamarins are among the most endangered primates in the world. The Blank Park Zoo says there are fewer than 6,000 still in the wild. The babies are being cared for by their parents, Kida and Eddie, who also gave birth to Caitlin and Clark last year.
The Blank Park Zoo is open from 10am-4pm.
