The Iowa Beef Industry Council and Iowa Cattlemen's Association are announcing the top ten finalists for the 16th annual Iowa's Best Burger Contest.
This year's Top 10 finalists are:
- Arcadia, Polk City
- Big Head Burger, Waterloo
- Burger & Company, Spirit Lake
- Dan’s Road House, Cresco
- Halftime Bar & Grill, Pleasantville
- Lewis and Lewis, Oskaloosa
- Salsa Guy Café, Cedar Rapids
- Smash & Grab Burger Co., Knoxville
- The Roadhouse, Orange City
- Wilder, Iowa City
An anonymous panel of judges will visit each of the restaurants in the final ten to evaluate the burgers on taste, appearance, and proper doneness.
JJ's Tavern + Grill in Ankeny was the 2024 winner of Iowa's Best Burger.
The winner of the 2025 contest will be announced on May 1st.
