(Johnston, IA) -- Corteva Agriscience is laying off dozens of Iowa workers from its Johnston facility this spring, according to the Iowa WARN list.
The layoffs for 44 employees are scheduled to go into effect on May 9th.
This past week, multiple companies throughout Iowa announced layoffs, resulting in over 940 Iowans losing their jobs. Whirlpool announced that over 650 workers would be laid off come June, marking the largest round of layoffs in Iowa so far this year.
