Average Price of Gas in Iowa Down Ten Cents in Past Week

(Des Moines, IA) -- The average price of a gallon of gas is dropping in Iowa, according to AAA. The current statewide average is $2.99, down ten cents from last week. It's 19 cents lower than the national average.

The average price in Des Moines is $2.77.

The average price on the Iowa side of the Quad Cities is $2.92.
