(Des Moines, IA) -- The first challenger in the 2026 race for Iowa US Senator Joni Ernst's seat is announcing his canidacy. Nathan Sage is a democrat from Knoxville. He's a military veteran and mechanic, who also serves as the president of the Knoxville chamber of commerce. Ernst has not yet officially declared her campaign for re-election.
