Four Hospitalized After Head-On Crash in Des Moines Wednesday Night

(Des Moines, IA) -- Four people are in the hospital after a crash in Des Moines late last night (Wednesday). Police say it happened in the 1600 block of Hartford Avenue just after 9 p.m. A Pontiac G6 was travelling eastbound when it crossed the center line into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a Dodge Ram pickup. Two of the injured are in critical condition, while the other two are expected to survive.
