(West Des Moines, IA) -- The West Des Moines City Council will host a public hearing at its meeting tonight.
The meeting will review and approve the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning on July 1st. The city's fiscal year budget includes basic operating expenses, business and proprietary expenses, debt services, and capital improvement expenses, all totaling over $262 million dollars.
The public hearing on the proposed budget is scheduled for 5:30 this evening.
