(Des Moines, IA) -- Proposed sales tax exemptions on everyday items are moving along in the Iowa Legislature. Toilet paper and dietary supplements would be exempt under their respective proposals. The bills passed the Iowa House and now move to the Iowa Senate, where they are eligible for consideration any time before the session is scheduled to adjourn next week.
