Threats Reported To Knoxville School District Deemed Not Credible

(Knoxville, IA) — The Knoxville School District went into lockdown after local police received threats to the school.

According to the Knoxville Police Department, on Friday law enforcement received a 911 call reporting a potential threat to the campus. The threat was deemed not credible, and the school was taken out of lockdown about an hour later. One juvenile is in custody and charged with threats of terrorism and first-degree harassment.
