(Des Moines, IA) -- Recent rainy weather hasn't stopped farmers from getting crops in the ground. According to this week's state crop report, 34% of the corn acreage and 25% of the soybean crop have now been planted, an increase of 16% and 14%, respectively. This progress comes despite having only two days of suitable weather.
