Iowa is one of the states with the lowest drug use.

A new report by WalletHub compares all 50 states based on metrics like drug arrests, overdose rates, and the number of opioid prescriptions.

The study shows Iowa has the ninth lowest drug use, citing fewer overdose deaths and teenagers using illicit drugs than most other states.

Hawaii and Utah are the two states with the least drug use.

New Mexico and West Virginia are at the top of the list for the most drug use.
