(Clive, IA) -- A West Des Moines man has claimed a one hundred thousand dollar prize from an Iowa Lottery scratch off game. 59 year-old James Spiess was scratching off tickets with his wife when he noticed he had won. He didn't tell her, turned the ticket in and surprised her later on. Spiess says he will put the money towards retirement or buying a new car.
