(Des Moines, IA ) -- A Nevada, Iowa man accusing of plotting a mass shooting at the Iowa State graduation ceremony will remain in jail during the May 17th commencement.

The U-S Attorney's Office in the Southern District of Iowa says 28-year old Tanner Bandy has been ordered to be held without bond after he waived his right to detention hearing scheduled May 1rst.

Bandy is also charged with stalking a former girlfriend, who is a student at ISU. Police seized several guns, cash and details about his plans at the ISU commencement ceremony when he was arrested.
