Indianola Pilot Walks Away From Weekend Plane Crash

(Dallas Center, IA) — The pilot of an ultralight aircraft walked away uninjured after a crash in Dallas Center over the weekend.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office, the pilot, Jerald Deimerly of Indianola, was attempting to land at Husband Field Airport on Sunday night when the crash occurred. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the incident. Despite the crash, the pilot was not injured.
