(Iowa) - Multiple arts organizations throughout Iowa are impacted by NEA funding cuts.

The Trump administration announced last week that all 2025 funding for the National Endowment for the Arts would be canceled. Several organizations, including the Des Moines Metro Opera, the Des Moines Civic Center, and the Iowa City FilmScene, have been affected. Many of these organizations are now calling for community support to make up for the lack of federal funding.
