Doctors Urge Early Detection as Iowa Prostate Cancer Cases Rise

(DES MOINES, IA) -- A free prostate cancer screening will be held June 7 at the Des Moines Farmers Market.

Doctors say prostate cancer is Iowa’s most common cancer among men, and early detection is key. Iowa averages about 2,500 cases each year.

The event is organized by Prostate Cancer Awareness of Central Iowa.
