lowa Agriculture Secretary Mike Naig is not running for Governor of lowa.
He made the announcement this afternoon, saying he'll run for re-election as Agriculture Secretary instead.
Naig was first appointed as lowa's Agriculture Secretary in 2018, after Bill Northey resigned to serve in the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
He won a full-term in 2018, and won re-election in 2022.
