Des Moines International Airport adding nonstop flight to Gulf Shores

Iowans have a quicker path to the beach thanks to a new nonstop route coming to the Des Moines International Airport.

The 34th nonstop destination offered at DSM will take travelers to Gulf Shores, Alabama starting on October 3rd on Allegiant Air.

The flights will run on Fridays and Mondays.
