Anti-DOGE Billboards Appear In Cedar Rapids

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Nearly a dozen billboards protesting Department of Government Efficiency cuts are popping up around Cedar Rapids.

They're part of a national campaign by the pro-labor group More Perfect Union.

One reads Welcome to Gateway National Park--now with reduced staff--brought to you by DOGE.

The billboards are protesting what the National Parks Conservation Association says are 1,000 job cuts at the National Park Service that have led to closed campgrounds, reduced programming and fewer rangers.

A spokesperson for the Iowa Republican Party calls the billboards a distraction meant to resist financial responsibility.
