A Des Moines Man Killed In a Car Crash In Webster County

(Fort Dodge, IA) -- Des Moines man was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Webster County on Thursday.

According to a crash report from the Iowa State Patrol, 82-year-old Hal Chase was traveling northbound on P59 when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with US 20.

Chase's vehicle was struck by a car driven by Dianne Witt of Arcadia. Witt and a passenger were transported to a local hospital with injuries.

Chase was pronounced dead at the hospital.
