(Eddyville, IA) -- Rescue crews in Mahaska County are entering a second day in the search for a missing boater on the Des Moines River.
Authorities say two people were thrown from their boat Sunday morning near the Bussey Bridge, northwest of Eddyville. One of them, 50-year-old Roseanne Benda, was rescued by other boaters. The other, 47-year-old Walon Straube, remains missing. The search for Straube is ongoing.
