(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowans looking to file a new unemployment claim will need to wait almost a week.

Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) says they're consolidating multiple websites and accounts for filing unemployment insurance claims and viewing job postings into a single website.

But until the revamp is complete the entire system is being taken offline.

IWD officials say no one can file a new claim or manage their existing one until the new iowaworks.gov is back up and running next Tuesday, June 3rd.
