Washington, D.C.-Based Firm Hired to Help in Search for Next ISU President

(Ames, IA) -- The Iowa Board of Regents has hired a Washington, D.C.-based firm to assist in the search for a new Iowa State University president.

ABG Search, a firm specializing in higher education executive searches, will conduct background checks on potential candidates, facilitate interviews, and help create effective screening procedures.

Current president Wendy Wintersteen recently announced her plans to retire in January 2026.
