One Dead After Barn Fire in Warren County

(Warren County, IA) -- One person is dead after a barn fire in Warren County.

According to the Warren County Fire Department, crews arrived to find the barn fully engulfed in flames. Bystanders were able to get an 81-year-old man out of the barn before emergency crews arrived. He suffered severe burns and later died from his injuries.

One other person is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
