Thousands take part in "No Kings" protests across Iowa

Thousands of Iowans took part in Saturday's "No Kings" protest across the state, with events happening in more than 30 cities across the state.

The protests are taking place across the U.S. and several other cities across the world, rallying against the Trump administration's policies.

Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Council Bluffs, and the Quad Cities area all held protests on Saturday.

Indivisible and the 50501 Movement are both of organizing events the "No Kings" protests.

Saturday's protest coincide with the military parade planned in Washington D.C. to celebrate the Army's 250th birthday.
