(Ames, IA) -- Fire crews are responding an early morning hay fire at a dairy barn on the Iowa State University campus.
According to the Ames Fire Department, the fire is located in the center of the building and is surrounded by other hay bales, making it difficult for crews to access. ISU staff have been using heavy equipment to assist fire crews in reaching the burning material.
