(Conesville, IA) -- An Iowa State Auditor report shows $127,000 in misused funds in Conesville.
According to the report, former city clerk Yamira Martinez received nearly $66,000 in improper payments, failed to collect and deposit $53,000 in utility billing, and made $7,500 in unsupported payments. The investigation followed Martinez's transactions from July 2022 to April 2024.
