(Mason City, IA) -- Law enforcement continues to investigate the disappearance of Iowa News Anchor Jodi Huisentruit, who went missing in Mason City 30 years ago.

On June 27th, 1995, Huisentruit went missing on her way to work as a Morning News Anchor at KIMT-TV.

Her car and some of her belongings were later found outside of her apartment. Police found signs of a struggle by her car and a bent car key.

John Vansice was a person of interest in the case and is believed to be one of the last people to see Huisentruit alive. Vansice was never charged and died in December 2024 at the age of 78.

Her body has never been found, and no arrests have been made in her disappearance.
