(Des Moines, IA) -- A shooting on Des Moines' south side has left a man in critical condition. City police responded to a call at an apartment complex in the 400-block of East Philip Street Sunday morning. They found a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to UnityPoint-Methodist Medical Center.
Police say there is no indication of any ongoing danger to the neighborhood. No arrests have been made yet, but an investigation into the shooting continues.
