EF-2 Tornado That Hit Davenport Friday Traveled Seven Miles

(Davenport, IA) - We're learning more details about the EF-2 tornado that hit the Quad Cities area on Friday evening.

The National Weather Service clocked the twister at 120 miles-per-hour and say it traveled 7 miles from Blue Grass to west Davenport over 10 minutes.

Investigators say the tornado was 500 yards wide at times.

It caused heavy damage at Camping World and Emeis Park in Davenport.

No injuries were reported.
