West Des Moines Human Services Launches Free Workforce Development Program

(West Des Moines, IA) -- West Des Moines Human Services is announcing a new free workforce development program.

The free program is designed to prepare participants for high-demand jobs as data center technicians. The program will offer 15 weeks of free training, technology support, and mentorship to help participants learn the skills necessary to join the data technology field. Applications to the program are now open and will be accepted through Friday, August 8th. Graduates of the program will be eligible for positions in local and regional data centers and be able to apply for paid internship programs.

Applications can be submitted through the City of West Des Moines website.
