Red Cross still helping Des Moines fire victims

The Central Iowa Chapter of the American Red Cross is still helping residents of a deadly Des Moines apartment building fire last month.

An emergency shelter has closed, but volunteers are still working with residents and community groups to try and meet the needs of the tenants.

The fire, Thursday, May 25th,  at the Eddy Apartment building on Polk Boulevard claimed four lives and displaced 40 people.
