Police give "all clear" after threat at Altoona Target

ALTOONA, Iowa-  Police have given the "all clear" after a threat at the Target store at 3414 8th Street SW in Altoona.   Police were called around 11:40 a.m.   Sergeant Alyssa Wilson of the Altoona Police Department says the Target and Staples were evacuated and a bomb squad checked out the stores and parking lots but found no threat, so the stores are now back open. 

Sergeant Wilson says a caller asked for Google and Target gift cards to be reloaded and alluded to bombs in the parking lot and the store.

Police say the investigation continues into who made the threat.
