Chief Operating Officer At Waukee Schools Arrested

The Chief Operating Officer of the Waukee School District has been arrested and booked into the Dallas County Jail.   Fifty-year-old Eric Rose turned himself into authorities.

His attorney, Grant Woodard, tells WHO Radio News that Rose has been charged with two counts of solicitation to commit a felony and one count of felonious misconduct in office.  Bond was set at $15,000.  He posted bond and was released.

"Mr. Rose denies all the allegations and we'll be waging a vigorous defense and he looks forward to his day in court,  to be exonerated of these false allegations," said Woodard.

Jeff will be talking about this and tracking the latest developments (the Waukee school board meets this morning to consider Rose's status) beginning at 9 am.  Rose has been put on  paid administrative leave after a state audit recently identified $130,000 in questionable spending on district retreats and office furniture.  Listen LIVE below!
